Steve Marshall
What motivated you to start DJing/presenting?
Listening to pirate radio when i was about 13.
What styles do you play?
I play anything from dance to pop. I do prefer the more commercial dance music, i don’t like the harder genres, but then each to their own when it comes to musical tastes.
Do you mix or scratch or both? Or are you more of a presenter?
Presenter.
Do you play on just one of danceradiouk.com’s stations or both?
Both Box UK & Dance UK, after all someone has got to hold the fort.
Outside of danceradiouk.com, who are your favourite DJ’s, bands or music artists and how have they influenced your style (if they have)?
I don’t have a favourite band or so on, i never have, i like each track as it comes. I do like more up tempo tunes as a rule.
What other interests do you have besides DJing/presenting on the radio?
Sleeping.
Favourite things?
Cake and music.
Sum yourself up in a sentence?
Pain in the arse.

As the gaffer unfortunately left us a few years ago now, the baton has been passed to myself & Ali to keep the dream alive, so it really has to be Keep it dance!
