Mad DJ
What motivated you to start DJing/presenting?
When I was at a young age, I went to many birthday parties, where the parents would hire a hall and a DJ. That’s when I became interested in DJing. I did my first disco when I was 16, for a 13-year-old birthday party, which had a disastrous start, but got there in the end! My first professional disco was a wedding, when I was 18. I have loved DJing ever since!
What styles do you play?
I can play mostly anything
Do you mix or scratch or both? Or are you more of a presenter?
I’m more of a presenter, as I don’t have the hardware/ software to mix with.
Do you play on just one of danceradiouk.com’s stations or both?
Just Box UK at present.
Outside of danceradiouk.com, who are your favourite DJ’s, bands or music artists and how have they influenced your style (if they have)?
I have too many to mention, but my fave bands are Pink Floyd and Dire Straits! I have seen the film “The Wall” featuring the soundtrack by the same name and got hooked on the music from then on. I like most genres of music, which you’ll notice in my shows.
What other interests do you have besides DJing/presenting on the radio?
I love being with my family, driving, listening to music, watching tv/ films…
Favourite things?
My family and music.
Sum yourself up in a sentence?
